"From the Belly of the Snake" is an original artist book depicting the conception and birth of a fictional deity and is part of an in progress body of work revolving around these characters. The myths and imagery in this project are inspired by the native Floridian flora and fauna, and it was in part created to give Florida its own unique story.
It is a hand bound accordion book with watercolor monotype images and solvent transferred text.
